Rainforest!
Mele Kalikimaka as they say here on Hawaii (merry x-mas). Today we've had our 2nd Christmas celebration. Started with pancaces and maple syrup (american style) with the family, and then we got Christmas presents =) So nice of them, really didn't expect that! Then we went for a hike in the rainforest (Jurassic track) with a nice older couple and their dog Lili. The lady tought us how to make leis (the flowers around the neck and in the head). And we could sit in the pick-up trunk on the way back, yehaa!
After that we had a nice day by the pool at our house and then we had Christmas dinner with the family; turkey, ham, sweet potatoes (blue!!), cranberry sauce, etc. Really good! Thomas who cooked is really good at it, he sings great too! He tought us a song "Mele Kalikimaka is the thing to say on a bright Hawaiian Christmas day" ... something like that, it's really catchy!
And now we're really tired so I'm soon going to bed (it's only 8:45 p.m.!!).
Just have to tell you that the light service was really nice yesterday night, and Lily was dressed in her Christmas clothes.. so cute! =)
Good night and once again; Mele Kalikimaka! =)
